A Plaquemine man, in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for traffic violations and drug charges, is also identified as the suspect in an armed robbery that happened in Port Allen at the beginning of the month.
According to the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, Johannes A. Domingue, 23, was stopped by East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies in Baton Rouge Monday, February 18th, for traffic violations and drug charges.
West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives were able to connect Domingue to an armed robbery that happened in Port Allen, Friday, February 8th. Domingue reportedly pulled a firearm on two people who were riding with him in a car, demanded money, then forced them out of the vehicle.
He will head back to West Baton Rouge to face two counts of armed robbery.
