Cara’s House Full budget request of $150,000 was approved at Thursday night’s Ascension Parish Council meeting.
The Ascension Parish Council agreed Thursday to give CARA’s House, the parish animal shelter, a 75 percent budget increase for 2018. The Council asked CARA’s House for a long-term plan in 45 days aimed at improving the solvency of the facility in Sorrento.
