Some residents at the Chateaux Dijon Apartments in Baton Rouge are without their homes Saturday after an early morning fire.
According to the Saint George Fire Department, it happened in the 4100 block of Essen Lane shortly after 4:00 A.M. One apartment is destroyed, and another severely damaged.
This was an accidental electrical fire, and we’re told a cat died despite efforts to save it. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
