Louisiana State Police are still looking for the driver responsible for the crash involving an 18-wheeler causing the shutdown of I-10 near Siegen Lane.
The interstate opened back up Saturday morning after nearly 24 hours. I-10 was closed in both directions until about 6:00 P.M. Friday.
State Troopers report the driver of a red Ford Fusion fled the scene on foot, and that same car was reported stolen yesterday morning.
