Impairment is suspected in a crash that claimed the life of a Holden man overnight.
Louisiana State Police said it happened just after midnight Saturday on LA 441 near LA 1036 in Livingston Parish. Fifty-seven year old Ernest Miller’s truck ran off the left side of the road into a ditch, and stuck a telephone pole and a tree. Miller was ejected from his vehicle.
According to LSP, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. He died at a local hospital from his injuries. A toxicology sample will be taken for analysis.
