The Iberville Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers the Bayou Sorrel Bridge will be unavailable for most of the day.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the bridge will be closed to traffic from about 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. while the structure is opened for water flow. The bridge will then open back up to drivers from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The bridge will then close to the public again from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for more water release.
Drivers should plan accordingly to avoid the area during the listed hours.
