UPDATE:
Officials have confirmed that Franklin died after being stabbed and Thomas died by strangulation.
NEW INFORMATION:
Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the death of 38-year old Roland Franklin and 24-year old Saydie Thomas.
Both were found deceased inside the aforementioned residence today around 11:30am.
This investigation remains ongoing.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is currently investigating a scene where two people were found dead.
Two bodies were found by authorities at an apartment complex at 4139 West Brookstown Dr.
According to Sgt. LJean McKneeley, Jr, a man and a woman were found dead inside the apartment a little before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The cause of death is currently unknown at this time.
