Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the robbery of Akasha Market, which occurred Wednesday, Jan. 20 after 10 p.m.
The suspect posed as a customer and reached over the counter to grab an undisclosed amount of money from the register. The suspect also grabbed merchandise before fleeing the area in a white sedan.
The suspect is described as a black male, medium build wearing a white sweatshirt with the wording “American Hustler.”
