BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) Bossier Parish Sheriff’s deputies are trained to respond to just about everything, including trespassing calls, which, according to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office, are fairly routine.
However when BPSO Patrol Deputy Jake Brown was called a home in the Lakewood subdivision around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, he learned that trespassers come in all forms.
A young alligator a few feet long had decided to take an afternoon dip in the backyard of a home on Hunters Hollow.
And, Brown soon learned, the alligator wasn’t traveling solo – he found another alligator about the same size hanging out in a nearby ditch.
Brown teamed with the homeowner and a swimming pool company employee to corral the alligators, who were then placed in a kennel and got a free ride to an undisclosed location.
