Louisiana State Police Troop A is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that took the life of a 56-year-old Charles Roy of Ventress.
Troopers said it happened around 7:00 P.M. Saturday on LA 415 east of LA 413 in Pointe Coupee Parish. Roy was traveling eastbound in a 2003 Honda Shadow, and for unknown reasons, he failed to make a curve, ran off the road, hit the tree line and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Roy sustained serious injuries and was transported to Pointe Coupee General where he was pronounced dead. Right now, it is unknown if impairment was a factor in this crash.
