As part of BRproud’s on-going coverage leading up to the big game on FOX 44, we’ve gathered some top recipes for snacks and cocktails from some of the best U.S. chefs.
The New Orleans Saints franchise was christened at the location of present-day Bayou Bar in 1969. Today, chef and owner Brian Landry is trusted by locals to create some of the best gameday eats in the Crescent City.
To elevate your Super Bowl party, Landry suggests boudin chimichangas, a Cajun twist on the Mexican crispy snack. The recipe features two boudin, a slightly spicy Cajun dirty rice style of sausage consisting of port and chicken liver. The boudin is stuffed into the chimichangas and served with a side of pit house sauce.
