A 42-year-old woman is dead after getting hit by a car in the 6300 block of Airline Highway.
Baton Rouge Police said it happened around 4:30 A.M. Saturday. Jill Valori was hit tried to cross the highway and died from her injuries. The 24-year-old driver has minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
