Four people are in jail Sunday night, and one is still at large after a home invasion in Ascension Parish.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 3:30 Saturday morning, on Highway 936. Deputies said five suspects entered the home through an unlocked door wearing skimasks and armed with guns, and authorities believe the suspects were looking for drugs. We are told the suspects got into a fight with the resident, who was later sent to the hospital.

The deputies said three of the suspects fled on foot, but were found in Sorrento. Brockton Waguespack, 19, Reid Taber, 18, Daryl Mitchell Jr., 18 and a 16-year-old was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on several charges, including home invasion and aggravated assault.
