The Baton Rouge Police Department is responding to a fatal shooting of a woman on Scenic Highway.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Scenic Highway and Walnut Street.
According to sources at the scene, 18-year-old Ananya Crawford died after being shot multiple times.
Witnesses say the suspected shooter, who wore red pants and a white shirt, fired seven or eight gun shots.
