State Senate District Two seat, previously occupied by Troy Brown, has been filled.
Democrat Ed Price took the win Saturday night with 63% of the vote, over fellow democrat Warren Harang III. Originally, 13 candidates vied for this position back in the April 29th election.
The second district includes parts of eight parishes, those in our viewing area include Ascension, Assumption, Iberville and West Baton Rouge.
