A Denham Springs woman is dead after Louisiana State Police say her car hit a bulldozer in Amite.
It happened around 6:30 P.M. Friday, on I-55. Troopers say 55-year-old Deanna Lawson hit the bulldozer, as 48-year-old James Lockhart, of Galliano, was trying to move it.
Lawson died at the scene. Lockhart was cited for Careless Operation. Impairment isn’t suspected in this crash.
