SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (WIAT) — Do you think we are too attached to our smartphones? Well, one company does and wants to see how this over-reliance could impact our day-to-day lives.
FrontierBundles.com, a business internet and phone provider, wants to give tests subjects $1,000 to switch from their smartphone to a flip phone for one week.
On top of the money, you will also be given a “survival kit” to use to keep yourself occupied from impending boredom. This kit includes a physical map, notepad and pen, pocket phonebook and a few CDs.
The data will be collected after the testing week in hopes to further understand the influence of smartphones.
