News

NOW PLAYING

Karnival Krewe de Louisiane are usually known for their charitable givings during the Mardi Gras season, but this year they wanted to spread some cheer a little bit early by donating over $2,000 worth of toys to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital for Christmas.

The Baton Rouge based non-profit formed in 1987 with the goal of using the tradition and fun of Mardi Gras to raise awareness and money in the struggle against cancer in their community and have raised over $3 Million to date.

This year Krewe heard about the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital Deck the Halls donation drive and set out to learn how they could participate in helping to spread some holiday cheer.
