Autopsies returned: Baton Rouge law enforcement officers died from gunshot wounds

Autopsies have been returned on the three law enforcement officers gunned down by a lone wolf shooter in Baton Rouge on Sunday.

According to East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office, all three officers died as the result of homicide. Their cause of death listed is multiple gunshot wounds.

The victims are: EBR deputy Brad Garafola, 45; Officer Montrell Jackson, 32; and Officer Matthew Gerald, 41

The autopsy for the shooter, 29-year-old Gavin Long, will take place tomorrow.
