BATON ROUGE, La. (FOX 44)(NBC LOCAL 33) – The Back to School CommUNITY Extravaganza is back for the seventh year.
Louisiana State Representative Patricia Smith’s Office is joining forces with the Family and Youth Service Center, Baranco-Clark YMCA, Live 2 Serve and other community organization for this year’s event.
There will be educational activities, as well as live entertainment and a Tug of War between some of the city’s first responders.
The event is free and is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the FYSC on Government Street.
