Baton Rouge Police are investigating two different shooting deaths from Friday night.
43-year-old Charles Porter was found lying in the road with a gunshot to the head, shortly after 9 P.M. He was pronounced dead at the scene, in the 500 block of Education Street, just two blocks away from his home.
About an hour later, 28-year-old Kendrick Bell was shot and killed at his home on the 4300 block of Denham Street. Bell suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not announced any suspects in either of these shootings. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP (7867).
