According to a hospital spokesperson, injured East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Corporal Nicholas Tullier, 41, remains in critical condition.
Our Lady of the Lake spokeswoman Lauren Davidson could not provide any other additional information on Tullier.
The deputy was shot Sunday morning in his head and stomach while sitting in his patrol car.
Two other law enforcement officers were injured in the shooting: Bruce Simmons, 51, and an unidentified Baton Rouge Police Department officer.
One deputy and two police officer died following the ambush attack: Officer Montrell Jackson, 32, of Baton Rouge; Officer Matthew Gerald, 41, of Denham Springs; and Deputy Brad Garafola, 45.
The shooter was identified as Gavin Eugene Long, 29, of Kansas City.
Several funds have been set up for the law enforcement officers and their families.
