State police are investigating a Donaldsonville woman’s death in a car crash.
It happened on LA 1 south of White Castle. The victim 39-year-old Latisha Johnson ran off the road, going down a ditch, then back up the other side, launching her car into the air. It came down on a slab of concrete.
Johnson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died in the hospital. State Police want to remind drivers that seatbelts save lives.
