Early voting for the December 10th runoff election is over, and the numbers aren’t looking so good compared to previous years.
According to Political Analyst John Couvillion, the turnout was just above 171,033. That’s more than 30% less than what it was for last year’s runoff election.
As for the parishes with the highest turn out, East Baton Rouge is on top with just more than 22,000, then Orleans with nearly 15,000 and St. Tammany with nearly 14,000.
