A slow moving storm system will bring periods of heavy rain to much of the viewing area Friday and Saturday. Rain starts out light to moderate this evening. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Southeast Louisiana through Saturday afternoon. On average, 2″-4″ of rain will be common with some higher amounts that could lead to some flooded roadways or even some closed roads. Please drive with caution. Never drive through flooded roadways or go around barricades.
