GoGo Squeez is voluntarily recalling some of its popular applesauce on-the-go pouches– after mold was found in some of its products.
The company says a production issue could cause the applesauce pouches to harbor fruit mold.
The recall involves GoGo Squeez applesauce with best-by dates between June 30, 2016 and July 26, 2016.
They were shipped nationwide.
In a recall announcement issued on the company’s website. GoGo Squeez’s founder and CEO say the mold poses no health risk, but that the affected applesauce could have an unpleasant look or taste.
The company is asking consumers who purchased the product to visit their website.
