Livingston Parish Public Schools announce parish Students of the Year

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud.com) – Livingston Parish Public Schools announced this school year’s Student of the Year winners in the district.

The winners are Maurepas High School senior Bryce Felps, Denham Springs Junior High School 8th grader Reese Kennedy and Levi Milton Elementary School 5th grader Evelynn Artieta.

Those winners competed in Louisiana’s regional competition for the Student of the Year, and Kennedy became a state finalist in the middle school division. State winners should be announced later this month, according to Livingston Parish Public Schools spokeswoman Delia Taylor.
