A Denham Springs man was arrested Monday after Louisiana State Troopers said he interfered with a crash scene.
It all started the evening of Friday, February 22, on LA 22 west of LA 1039 where troopers were investigating a four-vehicle crash involving livestock.
While first responders were working the scene and about to open up the roadway, Michael Holzheuser Jr.,45, allegedly entered the crash scene and began shouting and cursing at the first responders. Troopers told Holzheuser to leave and go back to his vehicle. He then drove his car through the scene and blocked several emergency vehicles.
Holzheuser left the scene on foot leaving his vehicle. It was latered towed from the scene.
According to the Louisiana State Police Facebook page, he was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail charged with:
- Interfering with a Law Enforcement Investigation
- Obstructing a Fireman
- Disturbing the Peace, Stopping
- Standing or Parking in Specified Places
- Passing on the Shoulder
- Obedience to Police Officers, Signs and Signals.
