Wednesday, Governor John Bel Edwards along with other legislators and Matt McKay of All-Star Automotive announced the construction of a collision repair center in North Baton Rouge.

We are told it will help train future technicians and provide the proper resources for those in collision repair. The governor said the $11 million project just shows how our state continues to progress despite the challenges.

“They say with all the challenges, whether it’s the budget deficit, whether it’s the shootings, whether it’s the floods, being on the top of so many bad lists and on the bottom of so many good lists, what makes Louisiana great? The fact is it’s the Louisiana people,” said Governor Edwards.

All-Star was a driving force to get this state-of-the-art center. It will be located at the Ardendale Development on North Ardendale. Right now, there is no time frame of when it will be done, but the governor said as soon as possible.
