Ascension parish sheriff’s office has arrested 38 year-old Jeremiah Harrison and 35 year-old Tara Torres, Saturday Jan. 22.
Detectives began the investigation after responding to a burglar alarm at the pharmacy Saturday night after 9 p.m. Several bottles of hydrocodone, codeine, alprazolam, cyclobenzaprine were stolen – all controlled dangerous substances.
Harrison was charged with simple burglary of a pharmacy, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, possession of schedule II CDS, and theft. He has previously been arrested over ten times involving theft and drug charges.
Torres was charged with accessory after the fact to simple burglary of a pharmacy, and three co unts of being a fugitive.
Both have been booked and placed into Ascension Parish jail. Bond has not been set yet.
