Two people are dead after a single vehicle crash that happened just before midnight Saturday on LA-442 near the Livingston Parish Line in Tangipahoa Parish.
Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop L say it appears the Dodge Dakota was headed East on LA 442, when for reasons unknown, it ran off the roadway and hit a tree, and burst into flames. When the Natalbany fire Department extinguished the flames, they found the driver and passenger inside the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not yet been released.
