A Kansas City, Kansas, officer has died, according to the Associated Press.
Shortly after 2 p.m. , Chief Terry Ziegler tweeted an officer had been shot. He also asked for prayers.
FOX 4 reports one person is reportedly in custody and a search is on for a second person.
The officer was reportedly responding to an armed disturbance call when he was shot. It is not know if the attack was an ambush similar to Baton Rouge or Dallas.
