Louisiana State Police are looking for a driver who is responsible for a hit and run crash on Millerville Rd. near Old Hammond Hwy. that injured a trooper Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say it happened around 3:00 P.M. when an unknown driver rear-ended a marked Louisiana State Police car and a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. The driver responsible fled the scene. The trooper received minor injuries, while the driver of the Tacoma was unharmed.
Troopers are looking for a male suspect who is driving a red or maroon Chrysler PT Cruiser or Chevrolet HHR with heavy front-end damage.
