LSU hosted the 25th annual Future City Regionals, Saturday.
Non-profit Discover-E asked 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, from across Louisiana, to imagine, design, and build cities of the future. Six teams made it to the regionals, showcasing their future cities, as well as, presented and defended their cities to judges.
This year’s theme is “the power of public space.”
The first-place team will get an all-expense-paid trip to compete in the finals in Washington, D.C. starting February 18th.
