Tonight: Mostly clear skies with calm winds. Lows near 74°.
Tomorrow: Hot, humid and sunny with winds out of the northwest at 5 mph. Highs near 94° with feel-like temperatures close to 101°.
Extended: The same trough that will dig south and make Hurricane Dorian turn will bring southeast Louisiana dry and sunny conditions over the next 7-day stretch. Starting Tuesday we’ll crank up the heat with sunny skies and highs in the mid 90’s. Wednesday through Saturday our highs will sit in the upper 90’s between 97°-99° with feel-like temperatures in the triple digits close to 107°. With that in mind heat safety is a must!

Starting the beginning of next week our temperatures will fall back down to our season average in the low 90’s and rain chances will creep back into our forecast.
