Tanger Outlets Gonzales will be hosting an event to celebrate local veterans on Saturday, Nov. 11.
A local veteran will be honored with a special Hero Care Package, which includes a $250 Tanger Gift Card and items from Tanger Outlets and surrounding partners.
Tanger Outlets Gonzales will also unveil a special mural created to honor Veterans in the community. An Ascension Parish School student will sing the anthem. Patriotic items will be handed out after the ceremony while supplies last.
Schedule of events:
- At 10:45 a.m., there will be a gathering a the flag pole. The presentation will start at 11 a.m. at Tanger Outlets Gonzales.
- At 11:11 a.m., there will be a moment of silence in recognition of the service of Veterans nationwide and around the world.
