The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will host a prayer vigil for the Baton Rouge Community Thursday night.

The Louisiana Chapters of the Southwest Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. announced the vigil will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Greater King David Baptist Church, located at 222 Blount Road. Reverend Dr. John E. Montgomery, II, is the pastor.

““Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is asking the Baton Rouge community to unite with us as we petition God for the Baton Rouge Community, our State and this Region to experience the power of healing through prayer, as we faced these difficult times,” said Doris Brown, Louisiana State Coordinator. “This prayer vigil is for everyone who stands with us in the name of healing this community and in the spirit of love.”
