Live Oak (5-0) hosting two-time defending Class 5A champion Zachary (2-2) in District 4-5A opener Friday night.
The Eagles jump out front 6-0, but it’s Live Oak’s only lead of the game. The Broncos answer back 7-6 in the first quarter. Zachary scored 14 points in the second quarter but we’re shut out in the second half.
Zachary holds on to win 21-16 handing Live Oak their first loss of the season.
