BATON ROUGE, La. – The list of LSU players going pro continues to increase. Tight end Thaddeus Moss was the latest player to throw his name into the NFL Draft. While the Bayou Bengals took over the White House, Moss took to Twitter to announce he decided to forgo his final year of eligibility.
Moss’s contribution to LSU’s historic offense including breaking records of his own. The Charlotte, NC, native caught 47 passes for 570 yards and four touchdowns. Both stats broke LSU records for most receptions in a single season for an LSU tight end, and all four of his touchdowns were in the Tigers’ two College Football Playoff games.
The son of NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss has been projected as a round 2-3 prospect and would be the 15th tight end drafted in LSU history. Oakland Raiders tight end Foster Moreau was the last Tiger tight end drafted when the Raiders picked him in the 2019 draft.
