BATON ROUGE, LA (BRPROUD) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that has left one man dead.
Details are limited but here is what we know.
The shooting happened in the 5700 block of San Juan near Hooper Road. Authorities say several men were reportedly hanging out on a corner when shots were heard.
One man fell and the others fled. The victim was later identified as 18-year old Trent Jones.
This shooting is still under investigation. Anyone with any information is urged to contact authorities.
