The StormTracker Team continues to monitor a cluster of thunderstorms located several hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Models suggest some slow development over the next few days as the tropical wave moves west-northwestward.
Upper level support becomes unfavorable for development early next week leaving this tropical wave with a 20% chance of formation over the next 48 hrs and a 20% chance within the next 5 days.
As of now, there is no threat of the tropical wave entering the Gulf of Mexico.
