Tuesday Evening: Summer storms make way for steamy holiday

Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies with calm winds. Lows near 74°.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies with storms likely throughout the afternoon into the evening. Highs near 90° with winds out of the west at 5 mph.

Extended: Our overcast skies and scattered showers kept temperatures at bay today only reaching the mid 80’s, but these below average temperatures wont last long. Wednesday will bring another round for showers and thunderstorms with highs back in the low 90’s. Sizzling temperatures and sunny skies return just in time for the Fourth of July holiday with highs in the mid to upper 90’s and feel-like temperatures in the triple digits. The oppressive heat will follow us into the weekend so it’s important to practice your heat safety tips.
