Friday Evening: Seasonal forecast for a football filled holiday weekend

Tonight: Mostly clear skies with winds out of the northeast at 5 mph. Lows near 73°.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies with winds out of the northeast at 5 mph. Highs near 94°.

Extended: High pressure stays in place keeping us sunny and dry through the first half of the holiday weekend. Saturday will be sunny and warm, an overall nice day for the start of college football. Rain creeps back into our forecast Sunday with a 40% chance for showers and storms with highs in the low 90’s. Labor Day brings a mix of sun and clouds with a 30% chance for isolated afternoon showers with highs back in the mid 90’s. Through the rest of next week we’ll remain mostly sunny with afternoon rain chances and highs in the mid 90’s.
