Monday Morning: Stuck in a repetitive August pattern

Today: Mix of sun and clouds early before storms develop late morning and last through the day. Some storms may produce heavy rainfall, gusty winds and lightning. Highs near 90° with winds out of the south at 5 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a few storms lingering past sunset. Lows near 75° with calm winds.

Extended: We’re stuck in a repetitive August pattern with daily storms and highs in the low 90’s. Toward the beginning of the week our rain chances will be slightly higher in the 60%-70% range and by the weekend we’ll see a 40%-50% chance for storms. Temperatures will remain constant in the low 90’s with feel-like temperatures reaching the triple digits at times.
